Amar Krishna Shil, FCA, joined Pragati Insurance Limited on December 1, 2019, after 14 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, Compliance and Corporate Management at various National and Multinational Companies.
Professionally he is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He experienced various training courses, workshops and seminars at home and abroad and showed brilliant performance in diverse areas of insurance under different capacities. Mr. Shil is a member of different Standing & other Committees of ICAB. In addition, he is a distinguished member of Lions Club Dhaka Imperial.
He is also involved in managing financial planning, risk management, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring the organization remains financially stable and profitable. The CFO collaborates closely with the CEO and other executives to drive business growth, make strategic decisions, and optimize financial performance. With a deep understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements, the CFO provides leadership in maintaining financial health and navigating complex economic landscapes. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, leadership, and strategic vision, along with the ability to adapt to dynamic business environments.
