Ms. Akther is currently a nominated Director of Pragati Insurance PLC, representing KIY Steel Industries Limited. In this role, she contributes to corporate governance, policy formulation, and strategic oversight, ensuring sustainable growth and compliance with regulatory standards. She serves as the Chairman of Canvas Garments (Pvt.) Limited, where she plays a pivotal role in operational leadership, business development, and long-term strategic planning. Additionally, she is a Director of Canvas Clothing Limited under the KDS Group, further strengthening her influence and experience within one of the country’s prominent industrial conglomerates.
