Major (retd) Sadat Muhammad Musa, psc joined Pragati Insurance Limited on 01 December, 2021 in the Administration & Human Resources Dept. in the position of Assistant Managing Director.
Sadat joined Bangladesh Army with 27 BMA Long Course and was commissioned as Second Lieutenant in the year 1992 with a BA (pass) graduation under Chittagong University securing First Class. In Bangladesh Army, he served in command, staff and instructional appointment and practically worked in the fields of administration, human resources management, logistics, operation, training and budget. He also served in the United Nations Peacekeeping missions in the prestigious assignments as Military Observer and Military Staff Officer in Western Sahara and Ivory Coast respectively.
Major (retd) Sadat completed his coveted staff course under Defence Services Command and Staff College, Mirpur and obtained Masters in Defence Studies. He was also assigned for foreign military trainings in Pakistan, China and Hungry. Apart from having a PGDHRM, Sadat obtained a 60 credits’ MBA majoring in Finance from IBA, Dhaka University.
After retirement in 2014, Major (retd) Sadat served two commercial corporate establishments in the position of General Manager involving assignments in administration, human resources management and operation. Presently, he is committed towards the resource development in the insurance sector.
On professional and personal account, Major (retd) Sadat travelled number of countries which include Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Austria, Hungary, Western Sahara, Switzerland, Mauritania, Spain, Portugal, Ivory Coast, Thailand, Morocco, China and France.
