Mohammad Jafar Ali
Mr. Mohammad Jafar Ali, FCS has joined Pragati Insurance Limited as “Assistant Managing Director–cum-Company Secretary on 1st December, 2024. Before joining the Company, Mr. Ali has served about 13 years as Company Secretary and Head of Administration of Central Insurance Company Limited.
He has also performed as Group Secretary and GM-Corporate Affairs of Golden Harvest Group and as Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts of Bangla Phone Limited.
Mr. Ali also participated in various training, seminar and workshops within the Country. He has completed BBA and MBA from University of Chittagong. Besides, he is a distinguished fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) and certified Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) from National Board of Revenue (NBR) of Bangladesh.
Beyond his technical expertise, Mr. Ali established a High School and a Central Graveyard in his native village at Madhupur, Tangail dedicated as founder of it to uplifting the underprivileged society by providing essential support. In addition, he holds the distinguished status of Life Member of Tangail Zilla Samity, Dhaka and Member of Lions Club Dhaka Imperial.
